Catalogue of physical objects from the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen

A collection of historical mathematical models located at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. It includes about 540 exhibits spanning from the 18th to the 21st century and covers all areas of mathematics. The collection also contains more than 60 mathematical instruments.

Access to the model collection in Göttingen is free and is part of the public space of the Mathematical Institute, Bunsenstrasse 3-5, 37073 Göttingen, and may be visited by anyone within the opening hours of the institute.

IHP "Physical Objects" Collection

The Institut Henry Poincaré owns a collection of around 600 physical models, representing objects from various mathematical areas. Some of these objects are visible at the IHP Library (free to visit during opening hours) and at the Maison Poincaré Museum (part of the permanent exhibition), both in Paris. It contains sculptures, 3D-printed objects, knitting, etc. The list is available here.
